Cookie Policy

Last updated: 30 July 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on Members Request Desk (operated by NEMO Australia Pty Ltd), and how you can control them. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information more broadly.

What we use today

We use these technologies only where needed to provide and secure the service. The current inventory, verified against the production site, is:

NameProviderTypePurposeDuration
sb-ktiixjuiotycayrwiuuk-auth-tokenSupabaseCookie (essential)Keeps signed-in staff authenticated to the dashboardRolling session; refreshed on use
sb-ktiixjuiotycayrwiuuk-auth-token-code-verifierSupabaseCookie (essential, transient)Completes the secure (PKCE) sign-in flowDeleted once sign-in completes
Anti-abuse tokensMembers Request DeskShort-lived tokenProtects forms against abuse (ties a submission to the browser that started it)Minutes

When the signed-in session token is large, the browser may split the primary token across numbered cookies (for example sb-ktiixjuiotycayrwiuuk-auth-token.0 and .1); these serve the same essential purpose as the single cookie above.

Members filling in a suspension form are not signed in and receive no authentication cookies. We do not use local storage or session storage for tracking; the sign-in session is held in the essential cookies above.

Consent and the rules that apply

The cookies above are strictly necessary to provide the service. Under the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) we handle any associated personal information in line with our Privacy Policy. Separately, under the GDPR and applicable ePrivacy rules, strictly-necessary technologies do not require prior consent — but these frameworks do not use identical consent concepts, so where consent is legally required for any future technology, we will request it.

What we do not use

We currently use no analytics cookies and no marketing or advertising trackers — no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no tag manager. There is nothing to opt out of, because nothing optional is running.

Keeping this accurate

We re-check this inventory after any change to tracking, support widgets or hosting. If we introduce optional technology, we will block it until consent where consent is required, add a settings link so you can change your choice at any time, and update this policy before launch. Where the GDPR applies, non-essential cookies will not be set until you opt in.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent staff sign-in and parts of the site from working.
